Barbara Fuller received her Bachelor of Arts in German and served with her husband in inner-city and prison ministry and then as a pastor’s wife in rural Nova Scotia. As a young mother of three children, Barbara returned to university after the tragic loss of her husband, completed her Master of Divinity degree, and was ordained into Christian ministry.
Barbara’s ministry has taken her from the shores of beautiful Nova Scotia to the urban rush of Toronto, where she served on the pastoral team of a large city church. Her heart for missions led her across the ocean to the poverty of a former Soviet nation, the Republic of Moldova. She worked on an international mission team there in the area of leadership development, global discipleship, and pioneer outreach. Along the way, Barbara has always enjoyed leading Bible studies. She has had extensive involvement in the Alpha program and has served on the boards of a prison ministry in the Maritimes, a community chaplaincy in Toronto, and of two ministries to refugees, one in Toronto and one in Vancouver. She served on the staff of RSVP (formerly Stonecroft Canada) from 2011 to 2021.
In order to be near four of her six grandchildren, Barbara makes her home in British Columbia, along with her chocolate lab, Toby. Barbara loves music, books, and languages but her heart responds most passionately to the call of the ocean. Her favourite thing is to walk on a beach anywhere in the world, preferably with Toby, and always with Jesus.
